The focus of The USA Gathering is to share learning and update trainers on best person centered practices. The draft gathering agenda can be viewed here.
Registration: Please use this link to complete a registration form online. The registration process will take a few minutes to complete. It is an essential step in helping OTAC have good information to create the best learning experience for you. Click here to register Fees: The registration fee for The USA Gathering is US $400 prior to May 30, 2009 and US $450 after May 30, 2009. Refreshments including snacks and beverages as well as a continental breakfast daily are included. Lunch and dinner will be on your own. **PCT or PCT/ELP Facilitation Trainers who have been certified by TLCPCP may choose to include US $25 for a one year subscription to the Trainer Lounge. If you are not a trainer, please only submit funds for the Gathering registration.
Location: The conference will be held at University Place www.uplace.pdx.edu. University Place is in a prime location, close to public transportation and the Tom McCall Water Front Park, host to numerous festivals, concerts and events during the summer months. We have negotiated a group rate of $99/night + tax for guest rooms. Reservations can be made by calling 1-866-845-4647. Please mention ‘The USA Gathering’, and make your reservations early, as this hotel will fill up due to its location in downtown Portland.
Group Dinner: As per tradition, we will have a group dinner on Wednesday, July 29th. This year we will return to the Greek Cusina. A new local law makes the establishment smoke free and we have secured the entire second floor for our dinner. The dinner is family style and is followed by music, Greek folk dance lessons and a belly dancer. Accommodations can be made for dietary needs. The cost for the dinner is $36.00. If you choose to attend, you may pay as part of your registration or pay when you arrive in Portland.
